Our Café: "Café Feeling"

Our café, Café Feeling is situated in the middle of the walking street, about 500 metres far from the Abbey, where you can sit down on a large terrace, seating 60 people at a time, watching the commotion in the street among oleanders, drinking coffee, drinks or eating ice-bowls.

In the internal café there are about 30 more places, plush boxes or particular wrought-iron sets of furniture, offering cultured circumstances for consumption. The walls are decorated with newspaper articles from the turn of the century, read advertisements from that age, read war reports from the Great War, or watch photos about everyday life. You will definitely enjoy these decorating elements while drinking something in our café-room.

In the café you can find fine cakes, long drinks, our home-made beer, tempting the passers-by irresistibly with its golden colour and the sparkling steam bubbles. As well as in our restaurant, you can taste all kinds of our exclusive home-made pálinka here, available in all tastes from thornapple through naseberry to quince.

Our ice-bowls are made from Carte d'or ice-cream, that can be found also on the street in our counter. As for cakes, we offer MarlenkaR, made after an old Armenian receipt, available in nutty-honey and chocolate tastes.

From our café there is a view to our restaurant in the "Yard of Old Times", where you can see huge wooden statues, a smith's workshop and a crested oven. If you wish, just walk there and you find yourself in our grandparents' age.

We would like to invite our guests into our café with particular music, thinking of also the middle-aged people beside the youngsters, as our terrace is a suitable place for drinking beer or cocktails on hot summer nights.

Supporting arts, our renewing photo collection is also worth visiting, where you can find the montages and collages of Mária Dobos. In our wish the café will ensure a possibility for unknown artists to show their works to the public.
